Books on Witches/Witchcraft and Spellcraft?

Hi everyone! So, to put it simply I am a student who is going into her Masters in English literature at the start of next year, and I have an interest in analyzing Witch/Witchcraft literature (particularly older books and and literature, although if you have any newer recommendations it would be much appreciated). What I plan to do is base my analysis of these books from an Eco-centric point of view, essentially reading Witches as women with a deep respect and understanding of biology and homeopathic and phytomedicines, and to a more meaningful extent the power that plants and herbs can have on the everyday existence of life something that (obviously) scared the church.

Any recommendations or starting points on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
