Biggest goal in life is to be a good mother

Does anyone have this goal ? I feel like it really is apart of my purpose to raise kids to the best of my ability and teach them things that I wish I was taught. The one thing I’m worried about is having Bipolar disorder , I’m afraid I might mess them up in ways my mom did to me . How to cope with this and be better then my mom is something that will always be a big mystery in my life.
