Big anniversary coming up.

So I am currently enjoying time off with my wife. We got married on Halloween and we’ve been celebrating 24years since this past Saturday. (Halloween always happens the weekend before for some reason) Today I am going through my calendar to book off random days throughout 2025 for some time away from work and I made it to October. It will be our 25th wedding anniversary. What do we do?

Backup to 2019 when I thought “you know, for our 20year we should do a castle tour through Europe”. We all know how that ended. Lockdown.

So here we are. I am looking for a big one, but trying to keep in mind that I’m not rich. I have a year to save and my wife has 2 weeks of vacation time, though I may be able to pry a few more days out of her. What’s something spooky, and laid back. Is the castle tour out of the question? Can you get a room in a castle? We spent our 10year in New Orleans and I feel like I’ve been trying out do that one ever since. Is there something I should traditionally do for my 25th anniversary? I’m a simple guy. I don’t know these things.
