Anyone else miss Halloween as a kid

It’s October 15th, 2024. I (m25) am back in my hometown as I live with my dad because my mom passed away a few months back so yeah just him and I. I live I Ohio and just the past couple days we have been in the 50’s and 60’s. But the entire month has been hot like 70’s and 80’s. But I’ve just been missing childhood a lot lately and as a kid this was my favorite time of the year. I miss watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network in the early 2000’s and it being cold out and the leaves falling. I miss the cold air, going to school with friends talking about our costumes. Man now I’m an adult with a job and it’s hot into mid October and I don’t think I have spoken to a single human that isn’t at work or my dad and weeks.

Also I have been browsing retail stores I am saving up to buy a house so have been looking alot at home stores and it’s all Christmas stuff in mid October! Like come on we have 2 holidays before Christmas!
