Anyone else ever experience being homesick and wanting to give it all up just to go back to your hometown?

I've been in this new town for almost two years and it's so miserable here. Everything has gone wrong here. No friends, no family absolutely nothing here excites me. I only moved here for a job promotion and I don't even enjoy my job anymore. I miss my hometown that I lived in for 35 years. I had the perfect life before and I gave it up just for a couple dollars more I regret this shit so much.
