Advice

Wondering if anyone else has a parent who tells you not to do something but engages in that same behavior themselves. I have had this happen a lot with my father and whenever I confront him about it he laughs or says "sorry" but does it to resolve the matter. For example, my father told me never to blow smoke in someones face but one day while he was smoking he blew it towards me and once he saw what had happened, laughed about it. I feel like I can't get through to him because he just doesn't take anything seriously which is very frustrating.
