Let’s say that the universe is infinite. It cannot be proven or disproven but odds are in favor of it being infinite, with no start point or end point in distance or time.
The odds of us existing are 1 in infinity.
But the odds of us existing are also infinity to 1. If the universe is infinite, we were going to become a sentient species eventually anyways. So we are lucky but also not lucky at the same time.
