90’s and the 00’s was the best

Disclaimer: I was born in end of 1999 so to be fair I don’t remember much of the 00’s. However, I do think those years were the best for almost all aspects of life.

Let’s start with technology - you had tech but it wasn’t as intense and involved as it is today. You don’t have Instagram and Facebook, but you can still pick up a phone and call someone, maybe even watch a YouTube video or two if you’re lucky

Social life - people are going out. You go out with your friends, meet people, drink and have fun. Social gatherings are more focused and the point is to actually get together and do something.

Employment - I currently work in tech, I can’t complain but I will. It seems to be like, the work that was done back then was actual work, more tangible, real. It’s all too abstract now

I think the 90’s and 00’s had best technology to social ratio, we didn’t need more tech than we had back then. It’s all useless anyway
